Bro. Steven:

Drawing a false doctrine (equivalency of pastorate and priesthood) through a
logical conclusion doesn't prove anything one way or another. The body of
Christ is a royal priesthood. Jesus is the high priest. There is no physical
temple, no continuing sacrifice for sin (It is finished), so no class of
priests. That is why appeals to the priesthood to mandate today's ministry
aren't valid. To take the body from its place as kings and priests
ministering to God and reduce this group to a small group of specialists is
not New Testament.

The small group of specialists minister to others. We all minister to God.
Tithing needs to be discussed on the basis of the practice of the New
Testament church. Women in leadership positions needs to be discussed based
on the practice of the New Testament church. I don't think you set out to
promote this wrong premise, it was just too tempting to resist.

So lets rejoice in the fact that God has called us to minister before Him
and discuss these issues in light of the dispensation we are now living in.
