It was quite clear taken to the absurd extreme what you said doesn't
work.

1) converting Mr. Baptist usually involves getting him to question what
_his_ pastor teaches.

2) after conversion the former Mr Baptist (now Mr. New Saint) is
expected to follow his _new_ pastor's teachings without question (by
your example - even if you know he is dead wrong).

3) to a normal person that is wacko.  question _my_ pastor because he is
wrong, but don't question _your_ pastor because he is the pastor and he
is accountable if he is wrong.


As for not witnessing, who is more at fault the person rebelling or the
person instigating the rebellion?  Wouldn't you be starting a rebellion
against his current pastor _by_having_him_ question _the_pastor_?
