>From what I understand... in the 4 months that I was living in Indianapolis
(away from my family) while they remained back in Illinois (during my job
transition of '97) ... there wasn't a single time when my wife went to church
during that time that the pastor's *wife* mentioned that we must be out of
the Lords will for the move to Indy because affordable housing (a house
instead
of an apartment) wasn't super easy to find like an open door.
They really laid it on her. She felt bad because of the condemnation they
brought on by the words they spoke.
Evidently they couldn't get over the fact that I felt a "call" to Indy.
This is the place for me as I've felt the Lords will in it. I'm like an
apostolic computer missionary to Indy. As it turns out, as I arrived in
Indy, just the previous weekend, a brother at the home missions church us
Nally's attend said he needed to go back to school and further his education
in Graphic Arts. He was the computer guru of sorts. He was the photograher.
He was a decent chef (with a definite greek cuisine). When I stepped in,
I brought those talents *back* to the church, along with web development
skills, hardware skills, more cooking skills, and more! With me came my
wife who has pretty decent skills when it comes to making a fancy birthday-
type cake like you'd buy at a bakery. She also has good organizational
skills needed for events. And a pretty decent data entry operator, and a
great chauffer.
God knows how and where he's placing his saints.... the saints don't need
to drag extra baggage of bitterness from the old church to the new church
because of their remarks about "how we're out of God's will." Even though
it's a perfect match! Absolutely ridiculous!
