Taking that into the context of the current discussion, David did not
leave Israel, did he?  I know he actually left the physical boundaries of
the country, but he did not forever leave the country to live elsewhere.

And also note that David DEFENDED himself publicly, he even gathered
hundreds of men to side with him.

What about the Pastor that told me to stay in the town I was at and find
as many burger flipping jobs as necessary to support my family when God
literally opened a door in another city to buy a business?

Not really, because some Pastors tell their saints that if you leave that
Church, you might as well return to sinning because you won't go to
Heaven outside of going to that Church (as far as that area of the State
goes)

Some people even believe them then, too, it's sad to say.
