MeB4:
<< Then he should turn from his hypocracy and become a trinitarian. ;-)
This is only one of his many errors. I cannot for the life of me see why
anyone considers him an authority on the Bible.
Before the "Oh, you went and blasphemed my hero." flames come in, I have
said all of these to him over the internet and he is aware of my views. ;-)
I rebuked him for his 'stand' on remarrage. He told me that he "knew what
the Bible said, but..."
You:
Your little smiley faces at the end of nasty things you say don't cut it
with
me .
Me:
My statement above was a repeat of one that I sent to him and I can assure
you that there is nothing funny about this situation in the least. My point
to him and to the person that raised this question to him and received the
answer of "God has approved this as equal with the doctrine of the Apostles"
<Litteral translation of "E Compromisus Per Unititus"> This is what the
Brother said when he stated that God had the KJV the way He wants it. My
whole point is that IF the brother TRULY believed that the text of the KJV
is what God wants to tell us all, then there is NO ESCAPING the conclusion
that in 1 John 5:8, God is telling us all to be ***TRINITARIAN***.
You:
The bible says let your yea be yea and your nay be nay .That means don't
cover your self by saying something wicked with a smiley face ,only to be
called on it and say you didn't mean it.
Me:
Actually the passage means to not to try to add believability to your spoken
word by envoking some supernatural force as a witness. ;-) You can call
God as a witness because He IS a witness to all.
One thing I can assure you is that I mean this. The man is a heretic and I
have told him so. I can and will prove it. He flat teaches his own
reasoning above the Word of God. He does this to the point that the blood
of possible thousands will be on his hands. I have asked him to repent to
which he has replied that he will pray for me....
You:
I don't care what you think of him
Me:
What I think of him is irrelevant to this discussion. The charges I level
are. They are not light charges nor do I fool myself or anyone else as to
the implications. Nor will I back down from them. It sickens my heart to
hear the world of Pentecost follow such.
You:
......or
anyone for that matter but to say he should be trinitarian is shameful.
Me:
Actually, my statement was that he should cease his *hypocracy*. My claim
is based on this reasoning: IF the man believes that God has ordained the
KJV as His Inerrant Word, the man should then heed the phrase "These three
are one" and embrace the doctrine of the trinity that these words MANDATE!!!
You:
Once
again don't give me the smiley face routine I won't accept it.
Me:
OK.
You:
Your oppinion of
him would establish that fact. The only way you could justify that statement
would be if he's a false prophet, are you willing to say that?
You:
The man is no kind of prophet, false or other wise. The man teaches the
reasoning of man in a "don't offend anyone/your guess is as good as mine/no
one really knows the truth, but we must all do the best we can" fashon.
False prophets claim the authority of God...
You:
I won't continue
any dicission with you until you apoligize for that statement, unless you
belive he's a false prophet.
Me:
I won't apologize for the comments, those before or those in this post. I
will try to set straight the record on divorce and remarriage. Then NO ONE
on the list will argue with me what so ever, unless by private email, as I
am unsubscribing. ;-)
This is not the fault of anyone on the list. In the latest "brew-ha-ha"
behind the scenes, I stopped and sought God's Will about the list. He told
me to unsubscribe. I wanted to go back to postpone, but He said
"Unsubscribe". I asked Him to 'wrap up" things for me and wanted to be off
by Monday, but said that I would hang in long enough to insure that no one
was left "hanging" to their possible harm. This remarriage thread is what
God knew I would have to hang around an extra day or two for. ;-) I can
however make one post and clear it all up, for those who count the Word of
God worth listening to for answers, anyway.
God has shown me that I don't have to defend myself. This means that I
don't HAVE to correct all who speak falshoods/lies of me. I cannot begin to
tell of the impact this has had on my life! My dad accused me of being a
homosexual at a very early age (and I am not a homosexual, BTW ;-). All my
life, I have defended myself against this accusation. It has confused me
terribly. Anytime anyone says a wrong thing against me, I felt the NEED to
correct them. God has shown me that this is no longer "necessary". HE has
Justified me. I am what He has made me! If He says I am OK, I am OK. ;-)
And he says I'm OK...
Here are some of the major reasons He is having me leave at this time.
One is it to protect the 'wheat' that would be pulled up with the tares.
Another reason is that *I* need time to digest this new freedom and to
conquer some of the deepest rooted enemies of my existance. Those who Truly
believe in the Power of the God Who answers the prayers of His saints, pray
for me. It is from these that many of my doubts and fears come. There is
much torment in them...
Also, there are those on the list that just throw a monkey wrench into what
ever I start to discuss. They change the topic, they bait me, they do all
sorts of things and I keep falling for them. ;-) God has already matured
me greatly and there is more to come, but for now, I need time with Him to
sort things out.
There are some down right NASTY people on this list these days. I didn't
even think about it before, but with a few months off and with me being in
the presence of those in my church, who are not perfect by any means, but
they seek God, I have come to see just how hateful some on the list really
are. Ohters are narrow minded, elitist BIGGOTS! They are not seeking the
Kingdom of God but their OWN justification in their OWN eyes!
Anyway....
I know it is hard to see a hero's (Bro. Bernard) feet of clay, but it is
necessary if one is to get to the Truth. All depends on which you place the
greater value....
2 Timothy 4
1 I charge thee therefore before God, and the Lord Jesus Christ, who shall
judge the quick and the dead at his appearing and his kingdom;
2 Preach the word; be instant in season, out of season; reprove, rebuke,
exhort with all long suffering and doctrine.
3 For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine; but after
their own lusts shall they heap to themselves teachers, having itching ears;
4 And they shall turn away their ears from the truth, and shall be turned
unto fables.
Bro. Bernard is not a false prophet, but a teller of 'fables'...
