it's been fun and it's been real, but has it been really fun? :-)

Greetings from central Illinois, H-F listmembers.

As Bro Tyler mentioned a couple of weeks ago, I have been unable to
actively participate on the H-F list. It's actually worse than that,
but I'll get to that :-)

The H-F list was started by Yours Truly four years ago this month as a
discussion forum for apostolics. Prairienet was very kind in donating
their services for the use of this list. The list started out way back
when with me; Mike Murphy in New York; and Bro Mike Blume, a minister
in Canada. Steve Winter joined shortly thereafter, as did Tyler Nally,
Robert Brown, and Mark Bassett. Running a list was a *lot* more
difficult than I ever imagined it would be, so Tyler became
co-moderator within a few months of the list starting. His help has
been invaluable.

After four years, it's time for me to move on to some other projects.
As Tyler mentioned, there's some work here with my employer's merger
with a much larger company, but I also have a personal project I'd like
to get going on. Also, our church has grown to the point where
ministry there is becoming very important.

I've learned a lot in these past four years and made many good friends
over the Net via this forum. It's been quite an experience sharing
your pain, your testimonies, your losses and triumphs. Even the
standards *ahem* "discussions" have been enlightening :-)

So, after four years, it's time to hand the mantle over to Bro Tyler.
The list belongs to him now. Be kind to him -- he's also about as busy
as ever :-)

I've set my list attribute to POSTPONE, so I haven't seen any of the
discussions since about three weeks ago. I may jump in every now and
again, but probably not. Technically, I'm still a "list owner," but
all list administrative mail has been landing in the bit-bucket unread
for a couple of weeks now, and I'll be removing my name completey
before too long.

Adios, farewell, bon voyage, and keep in touch. Walk in wisdom toward
them that are without, redeeming the time. Let your speech (and
writing) be always with grace, seasoned with salt, that ye may know how
ye ought to answer every man. If any of you all want to write me, you
know where to find me.

Lord bless you all.
