ReedActs@aol.com quoting Tim:

>Tim:
>Righteous is never imputed to anyone. ;-)

To which ReedActs@aol.com replied:
>Rom 4:11
>11 And he received the sign of circumcision, a seal of the
righteousness of
>the faith which he had yet being uncircumcised: that he might be the father
of
>all them that believe, though they be not circumcised; *that righteousness
>might be imputed unto them also*:
>(KJV)

Me:
To which *I* reply, "Lighten up." ;-) *I* myself said that righteousness
was imputed through faith and ACTIONS of salvation. I wrote that in the
morning on my way out to work and it SHOULD have read: "*Jesus'*
righteousness is never imputed to anyone."

Besides, you took your quote from the middle of the passage: The beginning
and the end QAUALIFY the middle in this manner => Righteousness is imputed
to the unrighteous by the Grace of God BECUASE of thier faith that causes
them to obey unto salvation.

Floyd replies:
This scripture was about Abraham, but if you look a few more verses, we
see that it is for us also. So please allow me to quote them.

Rom 4:23-24
23 Now it was not written for his sake alone, that it was imputed to
him;
24 But for us also, to whom it shall be imputed, if we believe on him
that raised up Jesus our Lord from the dead;
(KJV)

Me:
Amen. This applies to everyone who through faith DOES that which is
required by God.

Luke 6:26
