A Shame?

While reading this I realized that Paul did not make the above statement
but this verse is quoting a letter written by the apostles and elders.
James first made the statement on this topic in Acts 15:20 and then the
apostles wrote a letter containing the above statement. So to clarify:
Even though the above statement was made by the apostles and elders, Paul
still went on to write many books for the direction of the saints.
