What is he going to do? Offer his "appology" [again]?
Can you say "REPROBATE"? >>
Though it may be true that it is highly unlikely that Clinton will ever be
saved. It is not impossible. For Christ said that "...all things are
possible." But that is not the point. We are still required by the word of
God, to pray for those which are in positions of authority.
Yet another question. Has anybody noticed that many of the pastors which
preach so hard against "politics in the pulpit," have been the first to bring
up the situation about President Clinton? And the first to make there pull
for there political party (mostly Republican) whether directly or indirectly.
The fact of the matter is this. Not one president in the history of
America has been saved. They have all stood for some things which are totally
contrary to the word of God. Most every one of them has told some form of
lie. If for no other reason than to get into the position of president. We
elect them into office on the basis of which one can tell the best lie. The
bottom line is that we elect them into office, based on what they can do for
the country. Not what they do in their personal lives.
And need we be reminded one more time, that some of the presidents
which we have considered to be the *best*. Some of which have done great
things in history. And yes, even good things. Some of these so called good
presidents have done the same thing as Clinton did. It's just that it was
concealed in a closet. And that is due the fact that someone had enough
respect for the office of president, that they were not willing to make a
shame of that public office. And with it, a shame of the United States.
Let us as the saints of God pray and dismiss ourselves from this
political turmoil. After all, Clinton is not the President of God's church.
Jesus still reigns. If we feel the need to preach about it, let us preach
against the sin (not the man). But at the same time, lets instruct the
saints to pray.
Your Brother
