*Saving for the cause of fornication*. Fornication- Consensual sexual
intercourse between two people not married to each other.
This means heterosexual or homosexual. In my opinion, it also includes
child molestation since a child cannot consent.

Again, it says, except it be for fornication.

The way I understand it, in the OT, if a woman did not "please" her
husband, he could put her away. I think God said this for the protection
of women because it's better to not be married than to be married to
someone who hates you. ( My opinion, of course.) In the NT, Jesus put
greater restrictions on divorce saying that except for the cause of
fornication it was not allowed.

>condemn

>(KJV)
But where was the man caught with her? The pharisees had a double
standard. If the Lord would've said "Stone her" he would've fueled their
hypocrisy.

>Matt 6:12
>12 And forgive us our debts, as we forgive our debtors.
>(KJV)
" Take heed to yourselves: If thy brother trespass against thee, rebuke
him: and if he repent, forgive him." Luke 17:3 Even God does not forgive
until repentance has been done. We must not be bitter toward those who
refuse to repent thereby being wrong ourselves.
>Luke 6:37-38
>37 Judge not, and ye shall not be judged: condemn not, and ye shall
>not be
>condemned: forgive, and ye shall be forgiven:
" Judge not according to the appearance, but judge righteous judgement."
John 7:24
>2 Cor 2:7
>7 So that contrariwise ye ought rather to forgive him, and comfort
>him, lest
>perhaps such a one should be swallowed up with overmuch sorrow.
>(KJV)
In this instance, the brother was repentant.
