AH, except that I am not using the Nazi analogy to DISPROVE anything. 
And I am comparing Hitler to the Devil, not to anyone here.  If I were to
say, "Well, that sounds like something Hitler would do", THEN you could
invoke Godwin's, but the mere MENTION of Hitler does not equal a Godwin
response.

The mention of Hitler/Nazi's has to have some kind of comparison to the
opponent's way of thinking, as an attempt to tar them with Hitler's
image.  I clearly didn't do that.
