First of all.... This post should have been *private* and not public.
Sorry for letting it get through.

Second of all... those emoticons your referring to are not smiley's they
are *winkies*. They mean a whole different thing than what you're supposing.

*Winkies* are there to show that there is a degree of kidding happening in
the previous statment made. In what Bro Timothy said.... I'd have to
agree.... Bro David Bernard won't become a trinitarian as he's considered
one of the deep-thinkers of apostolic pentecost. Hence the winkie ...

  >Then he should turn from his hypocracy and become a trinitarian. ;-)

... perfectly placed.

In the second instance ... the winkie inserted at the end of the statement
is referring to Bro Bernard's knowing of Bro Timothy's views....

> Before the "Oh, you went and blasphemed my hero." flames come in, I have
> said all of these to him over the internet and he is aware of my views. ;-)

... perfectly placed again.

Bro Timothy has probably engaged in conversation over the 'net about the
remarraige _but_ not with Bro Bernard (I imagine...don't know for sure)...
which would give meaning to the meaning.

You said ....

>Your oppinion of
>him would establish that fact. The only way you could justify that statement
>would be if he's a false prophet, are you willing to say that?

I don't think he has to. The winkie on the end of the statment doesn't
imply the Bro being a false prophet. The thing I'd question is why did
he give such a vague response to the question asked? Was he so *spent*
at the end of preaching that he could give a good meaty answer? Did he
just not want to give the time of day to someone cleaning up after every-
body? To me, because he basically blew off the questioner and question,
that's not treating him so *right* and being his brothers keeper and
bearing his burden and helping a brother out.... by the description,
he seemed to be absorbed in himself and didn't give a hoot about anything
else at the time.

>I won't continue any dicission with you until you apoligize for that >statement, unless you belive he's a false prophet.

You sir are being too critical. If you didn't mean for the list to receive
a post like this.... please hit the FORWARD button you have there on AOL.COM
and send it to him privately. As a result, you've tried to *shame* him and
your efforts are now archived on the WWW at ...

              http://www.elilabs.com/upc/net/higher-fire

... for the whole world to see. We are a private discussion group with
high visability public viewability. The good things you post to the list
are going to be around just as long as the bad things you post to the list.
I consider this a bad post. If anybody is deserving of an apology, that's
you sir for making a subscriber of this list a *subject* instead of sticking
with the subject at hand. This is not permissible.

-and-

I personally don't want him to apologize for the statment he made ...
I think they are valid points. There was no wrong doing.
