Very well put. I can appreciate a person who will not own a TV. Although
I am not in a church that forbids owning a TV set, our Pastor has been
preaching quite a bit on it...that people need to turn it off and start
getting into the Word and prayer. And if we keep it off, it will cause
us to be more sensitive to the Spirit of God. I agree...
I have to say that this is a very sensitive issue for some. And I don't
want to be insensitive to those who don't own one. I have to respect
those who do not have a TV. There was a time when I did not own a TV.
Although I control what I watch, I've seen people not be able to control
it. That is why I admire those who don't have a TV...
