Rechabites

As I was pondering some of these posts, the Rechabites came to mind. 
Jeremiah 35 speaks of a people that God honored for obeying the voice of
their father.  Their father told them to :  

1.Not drink wine

2.Not to build houses

3.Not to have vineyards

4.Not to have fields

5.Not to have seeds

God specifically told Jeremiah to give the Rechabites wine.  The
Rechabites refused because they were obeying the command of their father.
God honored the Rechabites for obeying the voice of their father.
