Duh. Perfect Church! Part 1

What is the perfect church?

Matthew 9
12: But when Jesus heard that, he said unto them, They that be whole need
not a physician, but they that are sick.

Funny, all I see in many so called churches today are those claiming to be
"doctors". They will not let the sick in nor will they go out to them.
They
have nothing more to offer those who do straggle in than a cursory "One size
fits all" diagnosis and a quickly applied Band-aid. The 'sick' are then
told to
'be well' or to get out.

Matthew 9
10: And it came to pass, as Jesus sat at meat in the house, behold, many
publicans and sinners came and sat down with him and his disciples.

11: And when the Pharisees saw it, they said unto his disciples, Why eateth
your Master with publicans and sinners?

Shame this can't be said of those 'doctors' of the church today. I mean
really,
the LAST thing they want in their churches is *sinners*. They even try to
make stupid rules that will keep them out. They say "You can't come in HERE
looking like that!" and "Have you no respect? This is the house of God!"

Matthew 9
13: But go ye and learn what that meaneth, I will have mercy, and not
sacrifice: for I am not come to call the righteous, but sinners to
repentance.

What? Did I read that right? Jesus is about mercy and repentance and not
about rules and enforcement?

Matthew 11
16: But whereunto shall I liken this generation? It is like unto children
sitting
in the markets, and calling unto their fellows,

17: And saying, We have piped unto you, and ye have not danced; we have
mourned unto you, and ye have not lamented.

18: For John came neither eating nor drinking, and they say, He hath a
devil.

19: The Son of man came eating and drinking, and they say, Behold a man
gluttonous, and a winebibber, a friend of publicans and sinners. But wisdom
is justified of her children.

Is this not truly the way of the hypocrite? If someone disagrees they are
characterized as either a lunatic or a lust filled sinner.

John 13
34 A new commandment I give unto you, That ye love one another; as I have
loved you, that ye also love one another.

35: By this shall all men know that ye are my disciples, if ye have love one
to
another.

And what exactly is one to look for if they look for love?

1Corinthians 13
4: Charity suffereth long, and is kind; charity envieth not; charity
vaunteth
not itself, is not puffed up,

5: Doth not behave itself unseemly, seeketh not her own, is not easily
provoked, thinketh no evil;

6: Rejoiceth not in iniquity, but rejoiceth in the truth;

7: Beareth all things, believeth all things, hopeth all things, endureth all
things.

8: Charity never faileth: but whether there be prophecies, they shall fail;
whether there be tongues, they shall cease; whether there be knowledge, it
shall vanish away.

Can anyone apply the discription above to the congregation at your "church"?

If one has charity, real charity towards one's brother, how then will they
treat
that brother?

Ephesians 4
2: With all lowliness and meekness, with longsuffering, forbearing one
another in love;

3: Endeavouring to keep the unity of the Spirit in the bond of peace.

And what if one of the brothers should fall away?

Galatians 6
1: Brethren, if a man be overtaken in a fault, ye which are spiritual,
restore
such an one in the spirit of meekness; considering thyself, lest thou also
be
tempted.

2: Bear ye one another's burdens, and so fulfill the law of Christ.

3: For if a man think himself to be something, when he is nothing, he
deceiveth himself.

4: But let every man prove his own work, and then shall he have rejoicing in
himself alone, and not in another.

5: For every man shall bear his own burden.

6: Let him that is taught in the word communicate unto him that teacheth in
all good things.

7: Be not deceived; God is not mocked: for whatsoever a man soweth, that
shall he also reap.

Hmm... Every man shall bear his own burden.....
