Anneliese replies:
I don't really think it makes one hill of beans difference whether we are
here 'pre, mid, or post'. We are aware that such a time is coming because
of prophecy, and we are aware of certain things that will take place. You
are 100% correct that the church's job is to evangelize, period. I also
believe, as Revelation states, that there *will* be a numerical mark that
will correspond in some way to the name of the man who is the beast. Didn't
God feed the children of Israel manna in the wilderness by a miracle? I'm
not worried at all about how I will eat, etc. when the time comes.
Philippians 4:19 --But my God shall supply all your need according to his
riches in glory by Christ Jesus.
That's all the reassurance I need.
BTW, I think *some* Apostolics already practice the "run & hide" scenario
when it comes to evangelizing to drug addicts, people with AIDS, teen
mothers (or those who are pregnant), homeless people, you name it. I think
they take the "separate yourself" idea too literally.
Anyhooo,
Anneliese
