>Nope, they don't make sense. You say TV programing is destructive, yet
>you have internet access with many orders of magnitude worse programing.
>That makes no logical sense.
I will disagree with you here, Skip, the difference between the internet and
TV is "WYSIWYG" that is not, always, the case with TV programing. On the
internet if you travel into an "area" that you dont belong or shouldnt be
viewing you having knowingly traveled there. With, some TV programing,
shows that are advertised as Family Fun turn out to represent or endorse
poor behavior and promote alternative lifestyles as acceptable. The TV
industry has perfected the subtlety of deceptive advertising, and will use
it on people every chance they get because it makes them money. It forwards
agendas and it sells, shoes, cars, tickets, beers, cigarettes, sports, etc. It
does this sneakily and so therefore it is unclean. Please don't get me
wrong, if Im sitting at a resturant and they have a TV on Im watching what
is on, but the fact is that the whole time Im being hand fed what someone
else wants me to see. I would like to know how many educational shows
present the theory of evolution as just that, a theory? I can answer in my
opinion less then .01% (and that one was dealing with the Theory of
Evolution) So as you can see when we break it down fine, EVERYTHING on TV
"pushes" some thought or idea that the viewer may not be aware of.
WYSIWYG=What you see is what you get.
