BUT if the local saints and elders are all intimidated by the Pastor as
in "He's always right", then you are going to have a problem. Real
scenario: This was when my mother started going to Church; I wasn't in
Church, but I knew this was wrong. The Preacher started saying that the
Devil wasn't real. There was no literal Hell. Oh, and by the way,
homosexuality is now alright.
What do you do? Leave and let the intimidated ones continue to be lied
to? And they weren't going anywhere, either, because he said that you
couldn't go to any of the other local Churches and be saved.
This was one of those "The Preacher is always right" groups and I will
await your answer, but you can guess the trouble that followed.
What would you (as an average saint in a Church like this) do?
