I work for Boeing. I support the COTS (commercial off the self) software
used to build airplanes with. I support the Baan Software or the MRM
side of the software. The project that I work on is called DCAC/MRM.
Boeing has the distinction of having the largest ENTERPRISE network in
the world. We have over 300 HP UNIX servers connected to the Backbone,
which is a NT network design. We have several Fault Tolerant Sequent
Servers. All major facilities are hooked up via, either FDDI, T3, ATM,
or Sonet. I can't really say much else, though I am a contractor, hired
through Comforce.

As a second level analyst, I work with customers to determine the issue
with the software. I use tools that we have developed to troubleshoot,
fix or pass on the developers, the problems that crop up. I have access
to some code, I work on network related issues, etc,etc, etc...
