Not this Pastor. I have personally laid hands on several non verbal (only
gutteral sounds) deaf people and they spoke with tongues just as if they had
full usage of a spoken language all thier lives. I have also witnessed the
tremendous way in which the deaf can not only understand but explain thier
understanding of the necessity of baptism in the name of Jesus Christ.

Does the

Praise God Brother Trucelli! I understand your plight. It is quite a
challenge that you are facing. To answer your question though, no, the UPC
does not place the kind of priority on a deaf national evangelism as you
would like to see. It is true that we (non deaf) people are in another
world from the deaf people in the sense that we do not really understand
what it means to be deaf. When communication is limited people are not
willing to try to break down those barriers. BUT, God is able to bring to
the forefront what is necessary to help you accomplish the task that is set
before you!

We had a working deaf ministry in Cortlnad NY in which serveral deaf folk
came to God. Sister Alison Bryan is one of the most annointed people I know
when it comes to signing! Especially when it is worship in song! If you
ever need someone that can really sign a worship chorus or special song, she
is the most annointed person I have ever encountered in this kind of ministry.

We are praying for you!
