I keep seeing this type of comment crop up here and there and
I just have to ask, just how many Apostolic churches actually
sing Southern Gospel?

I am a city boy trapped in a farm town right outside Indianapolis
but I cannot recall of being in *any* Apostolic church which
sang southern gospel.....then again, I am in a midwestern,
yankee state, so maybe that is the reason for my lack of
Southern/country/tear in my coke/ taste of musical knowledge. ;-)

Last I checked in my church, the older saints still like to pull out
the song book and sing the oldie but goodies, but never in a
southern flavor. Why just a few weeks ago, they allowed me to
grace the platform and lead the youth choir through a few fast/
hold on to your walkers/grab ahold of the pew and shout/ type
songs. I thought for sure I was going to be the first ex-communicated
Apostolic in this church, but sure enough, they liked it....or they
turned
their hearing aids down....one of the two. :-) :-) :-)
