Let it be established with two or three witnesses:
1) What happened to Moses when he struck the rock?
2) What happened to David when he had Uriah killed?
3) What happened to Saul when he consulted the Witch at Endor?
4) What happened to Samson when he betrayed his secret to Delilah?
5) What happened to Solomon when he allowed his foreign wives to bring
their foreign gods?
In EACH of these cases, there was punishment from God. The men of God
here, were not perfect and sinned.
Imagine taking the example of some here and obeying David by placing
Uriah in the front of the army so that he would be killed.
Would you do that?
Would you have shown Saul where to go to consult a witch if he commanded
you to tell him?
Would you assist one of Solomon's wives in bringing in idols to the
country merely because her husband was the King of Israel?
