Cubs fans REALLY have faith!

I grew up in Central Illinois as a Cardinal fan and the Cardinals/Cubs
thing almost split our family at times!  <G>

(sinister music) Even more dreaded than Republican/Democrat fighting,
even more violent than U.S. /Soviet relations during the Cold War was the
Cards/Cubs fan debates...

The Cubs last won a pennant in, what, 1945?

And the World Series was last won by the Cubbies in 1908.

And although I was raised a Cardinal fan, I liked some of the Cubs.  I
think Ron Cey (The Penguin!) was my favorite Cub and who could forget
Harry Carey?  Since we lived closer to Chicago, when we would go see a
baseball game (we only went if it was the Cards and Cubs playing),
Harry's seventh inning stretch always stood out.
