More trivia: the first port of Unix to an Intel chip (Xenix) was on a
single-board computer designed and built by my now recently defunct
former employer, Central Data Corporation.

Xenix was created by Microsoft. They spun their Unix effort off as the
Santa Cruz Operation, which is now the independent company SCO.

For more info, search in old dejanews archives for "Central Data" and
Xenix.
