These initials are serving a number of purposes lately, but the one
being discussed, I believe, is Alcohol and Chemical Treatment Series.
It is a couseling program which many Apostolics are being certified to
instruct. It gives access to people who have serious needs at critical
times in their lives.
The courts of a number states have recognized this UPC ministry as a
valid, and have recommend, and even REQUIRED court referals to undergo
counseling by Apostolics. Of course, the material is good, but what
really works is the one on one contact with the guy (or girl) who has
drug or alcohol problems.
Pray with them, testify to them, they get impressed with your God and
dump thiers and get filled with the Holy Ghost! Good program, no? I'm
going to get certified ASAP, and try to set up some contacts with the
local court system. Others are in at the state court and prison level.
