:)=:) I love Home Schooling.
:) As for a diploma, most home schoolers are under a church or other
:)organization. This group will issue a diploma upon completion. Also an SAT
:)test will establish the grades for college. There is no problem with home
:)schoolers in colleges we have had Harvard and MIT students out of home
:)schooling.
:) As for interaction at the same age. Do you work only with people your own
:)age? No, a child is going to get the interaction needed from the neighbors or
:)activities run by the Umbrella Home School Group. Our children go on field
:)trips and outings all the time with other home schoolers. The great thing is
:)we know who they are with and what there beliefs are. I feel that "Train up a
:)child" also means to control the environment that child is exposed to. and
:)home schooling does that.

Dan,
Thanks for your comments because it opened my eyes with some new
understanding. But I have a question: This being that my pastor
of our home missions work homeschools his children but they are
the only home-schooled children in the area. They don't get much
fellowship with anyone, much less children their own age. What
can you suggest to help children in this situation to learn to
interact?
:)

:)TG> schooling would be an option. My main concern is about
:)TG> those who get their high school diploma, and then can't get
:)TG> accepted into college if that is what they want to do, or
:)TG> can't work well with other people nad communicate poorly.
:)TG> Have anybody else heard of or seen these problems in
:)TG> home-schooled children?
