What we are hearing is that colleges are MORE inclined to accept a
homeschooled person (due to their ability to read etc).

What makes you think the kids in "NEA" government institutions are 
getting an education?

I got an education from the "NEA" gov. inst.  I was under them for 15
years from the age of 3 to 18 before starting college.  Some are good
but not all.
