The bible says to "train up a child in the way he should go and when he
is old he will not depart from it" Could you in good conscience say
the public system presents a good path for the child to walk in? I think
that too many of our good church families and their ministers are *getting
adjusted to the dark* and don't see the danger in a public education.

My son was a christian schooler and a home schooler. He went to public
school in the first grade and we were not happy with him being in the
public system. He did very well on his ged and was getting a 4.0 average
in college (until he got married:-) I think this speaks very well for
home schoolers in general. For the most part home schoolers score at
least a grade level higher than their public counterparts. This is really
pretty common knowledge.
To me the biggest arguement for home school is keeping the children from
being indoctrinated with humanistic values and from being exposed to the
peer pressure from fellow classmates who have little moral direction.

Did you learn a little star wars lingo in school? Or have you seen the movie?
