I am forwarding this mail because I just received it from a friend,
and it is very related to the recent thread on hyper/trans
dimensionality.

Hi Bob,

Lauren and I met Darlene and Krystl at the ice rink.
It has been awhile since the two girls have seen each
other. Lauren seemed to enjoy the time together.
Krystl is surely maturing. She is developing a young
lady of 15 years. Krystl was a little unsure of her ice
feet but seemed to get the hang of it with in an hour.
She met some of Lauren's ice friends. It's been such
a long time and I wonder what teenagers talk about
in today's world. All I can do is watch as they gather
and huddle together and I wonder They may skate again
tomorrow.
Darlene and I had a nice talk. Share concerns of bringing
up teenagers in today's world ; talk about the losses in
your family ; heard about the terrible car accidents and
talked about end times.
Darlene says you wrote a paper on where the Anti-Christ may
come from. That sounds interesting.
I told her about a computer in europe that was used in a test of
small cashless scotland village. It was a trial run and the
super computer was nick named the beast.
Well, Bob, i do believe the end days are coming quickly. People
just do not realize how quick things can change. In a twinkling
of an eye this world could be thrust into unimaginable turmoil.
Pray all his sheep will their eyes on Him.
did you check out www.reasons.org it is a worthwhile site especially
if you have some scientific type people that need this kind of presentation.
Here is an excerpt of one article

"Isn't the universe infinite?

Radio Spot

" … it really does matter, and matters very much, how we think about the cosmos," says author, historian, and
college
president George Roche. Unfortunately, the predominant world view is that the universe is infinite, and therefore,
the dice of
chance can be thrown as often as necessary to explain even such amazing improbabilities as atoms self-
assembling into living
things.

However, in this decade, astronomers and physicists have proven that the universe is finite— in time and in
extent. Though it
is extremely old and big, it is still absurdly too young and absurdly too small to explain life's coming together by
natural
processes. Furthermore, astronomers have gone on to prove that the universe requires a Creator, a Creator who
exists
beyond our dimensions of space and time. Of all the writings forming the basis for the different religions of the
world, only
one, the Bible, agrees with these latest scientific breakthroughs.

We live in a day when findings every year at the frontiers of research in astronomy, physics, and other fields,
simply multiply
the weight of evidence for the supernatural accuracy of the Bible. "

Hugh Ross has lots of biblical support for his belief in long days to account
for the biblical account of time line and generations. That's ok. I
just believe God did it.
The creation story as I think about it does not not need long days.

1st, assume with God time is not as we perceive it.

2nd, In our way of thinking, an act of creation involves the key concept of time.
To us something that is brought into being did not exist before.

However, Creation concept may be different to God.
For example: Creation could mean to God something that becomes part of eternity.
Then to God, creation of something might automatically imply the instantaneous
creation of that something's past, present and future.

So if the universe and our Planet were created 5000 years ago
in a given state, then all past and future existence of that
created event could be extrapolated from the initial conditions, If you were God.
Interesting to speculate but bottom line is God did it.

Well, gotta go for now, May God Bless and Keep you, Jim
