Speaking of Robes

Speaking of robes, and West Virginia, have you all heard about our
Circuit Judge, the Honorable, Joseph Troisi?? He recently made national
headlines, was even in the National Enquirer and on Paul Harvey,
for biting the nose of a defendant that was brought before his bench.
He had denied the man bail, and as the angry defendant was leaving the
courtroom, he uttered several obscenities within the judge's hearing.
One comment "allegedly" made reference to the judge's mother. I will say
one thing for Judge Troisi, he stepped down from the bench, removed his
robe
and threw it to the floor *before* he "chest-butted" the man against the
bench
twice. He then, for some as yet *unknown* reason, BIT him on the end of
the
nose and spat on him *twice* in the presence of several attorneys,
witnesses,
and state police officers. The man later received medical attention, but
did
not require stitches. He is presently awaiting sentencing. The judge has
not
been charged for this incident. He continued to hear cases for several days
until the WV Supreme Court suspended him **with pay** while an
investigation
into the matter continues.

BTW, this took place BEFORE the Tyson fight!!
