Bro Harrell,
Show me the scriptures on cocain, tobacco, disco's, or someone who
comes in repents . baptized, filled with the Holy Ghost, walking straight
, but comes to thier pastor several months later and confesses that thier
not really a woman , but had a sex change before salvation . There is no
scripture. The Bible does say whatsoever ye bind on earth shall be bound
in heaven.I can show all kinds of scripture on circumsison but the church
leaders(pastors, evangilists,Apostles) and the Holy Ghost decided
differently
Like my old pastor Bro. J.T. pugh used to say --I have this black book(
bible) that I live by and I have this white book (UPCI manual) that I
live by . When we put our name with something we must stand with it and
for it.
Now if someone is not upc thats fine . As long as they teach the
truth
I could take scripture and show its ok to drink alcahol--but--- the
church in its wisdom has declared no alcahol.
I really don't mean to be contentious, but I have heard so much --show
me scripture-- is everyone a pastor.is everyone a evangelist, can
everyone know the times.God always has had and will til the end:; have
men full (Isaid Full) of the holy ghost-to lead his work. I've known
Camelites( church of christ) people that could hold thier own with the
best in scriptures--but they have no idea of what the scriptures are
really saying.
To conclude-- Praying in the spirit continually( every day) will
solve and answer most questions. May the Lord bless you .
