One member of our congo. was brought out of the chatholic church. the
wearing of robes is a tender spot because of the scripture that says "beware
of the scribes, which desire to walk in long robes, and love greetings in
the markets,and the highest seats in the synagogues, and the cheif roooms ar
feasts;
Pet Peeve#2 I get so sick of all the kissy, kissy that happens before the sermon
when there is a visiting preacher. The best one I have ever saw was when
Bro. Florino National Home missions director, at the national Deaf ministry
campmeeting after numerous kissy, kissys by others, told the story of His
Italian Grandfather coming to the states and seeking for work. He didn't
know any English. But had managed through gestures to acquire some fish to
sale. But after that he was stuck on the words to use for selling the fish.
So he followed a ways behind another vendor who declared "Feesha fora sella,
feesha fora sella." His grandfather followed and declared "Ta sama thang, ta
sama thang," hehehe
Oh well....
