I have to say that this hint is actually a very good idea.  It is very
common for people working at CRTs (or LCDs, as I often do) to have a blink
rate that is 1/4 or 1/5th of what it normally is (while at the monitor).

Every time that I go to see the eye doctor they remind me to blink more
and/or use artificial tears while at my monitor (especially during periods
of extended use!).
