Thank you, Sis Brenda, for your honesty. I am the same way. I know me all
to well to allow the idol with antenna for horns and an electric cord for
a tail into my house.
We have been TV-Free for 3 years now and I love it. I fully believe that
if I hadn't gotten rid of the Me-Vee ( it really is a MeVee, ever notice
how folks fight over what they want to watch.) when I did, I wouldn't be
working with young folks and ministering to the needs of the saints as an
assistaint to the pastor. Of course, My wife was pretty happy to see it
go, cause you know if I was so glued to it that I wouldn't talk to her, I
wasn't talking to God either. I just know that if we apostolic would get
rid of our Me-Vee's we would see the return of the Family Altar, and a
mighty powerful revival.
