You:
You are correct in stating that it is not only the PAW that
suffers from the liberal demise.
Me:
In my experience, the largest threat to the PAW is that they
have made the requirements, usually at the pastoral level, so
strict that many young ministers do not wish to participate.
Couple this with the nearly total disregard for the young people
until now except to tell tham what they can and cannot do
without giveing them the benefit of the "reasons" for this and
the definate "wrong approach" of trying to over compensate by
"luring" the kids into the "services" where they have the
"appearance" of worship without the benefit of doctrine or real
"substance."
I hear of "praise and worship" meetings where these kids whoop
and shout and dance (not Holy dancing either) and then they all
LEAVE when it comes time for the Word. They listen to the music
in the meeting well enough and then listen to "Snoop Doggey Dog"
on the way home.
The "good ol' .... no I better not say that, I just never think
of my brothers as black ;-). The Old School has held the torch
so high for so long in fear of "wild fire" no one tries to reach
it any more, and in the wind unprotected, it has all but gone
out anyway. Not being willing to let go long enough to pass it
on they have lost the race by default.
Heresies have "crept in." In the three years I have been saved,
the Holiness Standards, the REAL ones have dwindled so that you
cannot get an "amen" when you say that if you are not baptized
in the name of Jesus Christ, you are not saved! People sit and
shuffle uncomfortably and mumble about "Spiritual maturity" and
"good people."
If you say that God heals the unsaved who have no faith, and
that you do not NEED faith to be healed, they GET ANGERY at you
and say, "You have to have faith to be healed!" They just look
with blinking eyes when I then say "Then who is it that heals
the sinners and the rebellious? Doesn't God heal them too?"
I can't think of one person in my assembly including my pastor,
well maybe him now, but only recently, that could explain the
God head to me well enough to let me know what He truly is and
if you bar them from using Colossians 2:9 and Deuteronomy 6:4
they would not be able to give you any verses to PROVE the
Oneness of God! I sit and listen to trinitarian songs and
trinitarian doctrine preached over the pulpit by ordained
"Oneness" elders and with some get up and walk out. I go to a
UPC church and hear how there are "4 hells" (long story) and am
told that I will be in trouble for being rebellious (even though
I am niether a member of that church nor organization) for
stating that this is totally unfounded because "The pastor is
"anointed" by God to "watch over" the flock and that God
wouldn't give him "bad grass" for the sheep, now would He?"
This is not all. From the top the pressure is on in ever
growing numbers to accept other forms of baptism and to "loosen"
the stand on sin and to preach more about love and not to
mention damnation because it scares people off and we don't want
to do THAT!
I won't go into the UPC bacause I don't want to get curcified
but this I will say. In one generation, 20 short years,
everything we hold dear can be lost by not teaching our kids the
Truth and showing them that this walk it tough and demands
sacrifice but that the rewards are PHENOMINAL here on this Earth
and then Everlasting life in the presence of a Holy God, these
orgs. are doomed. To those whom God has given this ministry I
say AMEN! Teach them to Love God and each other. These kids
today don't really know that much about not accepting anyone on
racial bases and social barriers, use that.
The only church that will survive is the one where ANY Holy
Ghost filled saint of God can worship in full acceptance of the
congregation REGARDLESS of petty rules and "outward tokens" of
supposed "holiness." This church will look upon the repentant
nature of a man and not his skin or income or background or
"social standing in the church" or his "position."
This church will have ONE STANDARD, the Bible as revealed by the
manifest presence of God and confirmed by the miracle of
salvation unto life. It will consider those worthy who are
willing to serve! Sin will not be tolerated. The repentant
will be healed and the unrepentant shunned that they might
repent!
This church will "gather" because it is one and wishes to
express this and will not be thrown together or forced into a
mold. Unity will be an expression, not a goal.
There are MANY fine men of God in these orgs. and they will have
to save themselves from the things that have already crept in
and I tell ya folks, the price of Christianity is going up!
This is the great tribulation to those who can receive it and
after Satan has his shot at us through the 'lures' of the flesh,
he will come in force with mega deception and draw off many and
then to the faithful, persecution and then death. God's grace
will abound and many miraculous and wonderful things will
happen. There will be great signs and wonders but this will be
only for a time as when the masses, like those who were told
there would be no more bread departed, will accept the goodness
of God but when called upon to join in the comunion of His
suffering, will "fall away."
It is at hand y'all. Great Glory for God and great trials of
the saints and power and death and sin and judgment!
It is NOW time to fill the lamps!
1 Then shall the kingdom of heaven be likened unto ten virgins,
which took their lamps, and went forth to meet the bridegroom.
2 And five of them were wise, and five were foolish.
3 They that were foolish took their lamps, and took no oil with
them:
4 But the wise took oil in their vessels with their lamps.
5 While the bridegroom tarried, they all slumbered and slept.
6 And at midnight there was a cry made, Behold, the bridegroom
cometh; go ye out to meet him.
7 Then all those virgins arose, and trimmed their lamps.
8 And the foolish said unto the wise, Give us of your oil; for
our lamps are gone out.
9 But the wise answered, saying, Not so; lest there be not
enough for us and you: but go ye rather to them that sell, and
buy for yourselves.
10 And while they went to buy, the bridegroom came; and they
that were ready went in with him to the marriage: and the door
was shut.
....they all slumbered and slept...
