The Bible says 3000 were added to the church on the day of Pentecost.
To me, that means 3000 received the Holy Ghost, and that same 3000
were baptized in Jesus' name. I figure (I have no scripture for this
-- I am just demonstrating plausibility) that once someone was
baptized on that day, he then immediatly started baptizing others.
Assuming there was a large enough body of water, 12 cycles of this
would suffice to baptize all of them if each one only baptized 2
others.

4095 is the total, which is more than 3000. It is interesting
that 12, the same as the number of the disciples and the number of the
tribes, was the number of cycles that would have handled the 3000.
BTW 3000 were killed on the original day of Pentecost when Moses
brought the stone tables of the law down and saw the Israelites
worshiping the golden calf.
