*The Lion Roars*

*But Your adversary the devil runneth about like a roaring lion seeking whom he
may devour.*(I Peter 5:8)

The Bible in this verse has shown us that the devil is the destroyer of our
souls and compares him to a lion. But when does the lion roar? When he is on
the hunt and when he has the prey in his sights. The roar is to bring fear upon
the prey and freeze him long enough to be caught and eaten. The devil wants to
catch your soul and devour it. He wants to take your blessings away. The lion
resemblance is one of a hunter or a destroyer. *He lies in wait like a lion in
cover; he lies in wait to catch the helpless; he catches the helpless and drags
them off in his net.* (NIV-Ps. 10:9). The devil will lay of snare or net of
temptation to catch those that are helpless, those without Christ in their
hearts. His roar is one that tries to entice us into his snares.
But their is another lion that is own the prowl! This is the Lion of the
Tribe of Judah. This Lion is not a destroyer of people, but a protector and
savior of his people. He is out only to destroy evil. This lion is our Lord and
savior Jesus Christ. He is come to bring us salvation and deliverance. He
represents the strength of the lion and is there to protect his flock-you and me
from the temptations of the devil. But we must not get out of the fold of the
lion of Judah or we may be devoured.
God*s roar is one of love and peace and warning when we get out of the fold.
The Devil*s again is one that tries to entice us into a snare. Which Roar are
you going to heed today?

Just a thought I put together the other day and thought everyone might
enjoy it.
