so, what, if anything, should be done about UPC spam?

I think we should let them post *ONCE* to notify us that they have a
web site. The post should be short -- just letting us know quickly
who they are, what the offer, and the URL or email address for more
info. Maybe after 6 months they could post again. And yes only
postings from Apostolics, and a required disclaimer that there is no
endorsement from any church or organization or this list. Perhaps
they should also be required to have something in the Subject: header
line identifying the post anan ADVERTISEMENT.
