Timothy:
>And on rare occasion so do I. What I have listed as "revelation" from God
>however is 100% on the beam! What IS the term for those who deliver
>"prophecies" supposedly from God, that turn out to be false?

Dave:
I see that you admitted to making statements that you change your mind on
later. I have heard of many "revelations" in various UPC camp meetings,
PSR conventions, and so forth. In reality, these preachers were giving their
personal "revelation" or understanding (is what it really is) on a particular
issue.

In my years with the UPC, I heard "revelations" preached over the pulpit
from mustaches to the color of clothing. I now see that all these people were
doing were giving their personal understanding about a matter. That's fine.
And some have said "Thus saith the Lord" but in reality were speaking from
their own heart. I wouldn't criticize them for that. (That's only me, ok)
Hinn never claimed to be a Prophet and is not as far as I'm concerned.
