You:
....I must still acknowledge that these theologians clearly taught that the
substance, the essential nature of God, is indivisibly One.

Me:
Right, I agree, then they sought to explain the three "distinctions" in
this nature to divide the indivisible. No wonder no one can "attain" to
understand this doctrine, it is a logical and physical as well as Spiritual
IMPOSSIBLITY. Its proponents must first define God then seek to contrdict
the definition. Not a job *I* want!

You:
Kenneth Reeves even teaches the likelihood of internal communication within
the Godhead, which might seemingly allow the *possibility* of relational
distinctions *similar* to Augustine's "persons."

Me:
This is not Oneness.

You:
> There's a story that Augustine was walking along the seashore one day,
thinking deeply about the Godhead, when he came across a young boy playing
with a seashell. The boy would fill the shell with water, then pour it into
a hole he had made in the sand. When Augustine asked what he was doing, the
boy answered, "I'm going to pour the sea into that hole."

Me:
WAIT A MINUTE! Did the boy REALLY pour the sea into the hole or a VERY
SMALL PART of the sea?

You:
> "Ah," said Augustine to himself, "that is what I have been trying to do.
Standing at the ocean of infinity, I have attempted to grasp it with my
finite mind." [End]

Me:
Why didn't he just look at the ocean? I have seen it and though I cannot
"contain" the ocean, I can definately "concieve" its vastness!

You:
> Almighty God, in the fullness of His glorious, eternal essence is utterly
beyond human comprehension.

Me:
John 6:46
Not that any man hath seen the Father, save he which is of God, he hath
seen the Father.

Jesus understands!

John 14:7
If ye had known me, ye should have known my Father also: and from
henceforth ye know him, and have seen him.

John 14:9
Jesus saith unto him, Have I been so long time with you, and yet hast thou
not known me, Philip? he that hath seen me hath seen the Father; and how
sayest thou then, Shew us the Father?

1 John 1:3
That which we have seen and heard declare we unto you, that ye also may
have fellowship with us: and truly our fellowship is with the Father, and
with his Son Jesus Christ.

John 8:19
Then said they unto him, Where is thy Father? Jesus answered, Ye neither
know me, nor my Father: if ye had known me, ye should have known my Father
also.

John 14:7
If ye had known me, ye should have known my Father also: and from
henceforth ye know him, and have seen him.

1 Corinthians 13:12
For now we see through a glass, darkly; but then face to face: now I know
in part; but then shall I know even as also I am known.

One God, manifested in the flesh until the taking away of the veil of
flesh. Understand?
