Thank you for your thoughtful and articulate response. I'll just offer a
brief comment on this last portion.
I agree, of course, that ultimate >reconciliation between our respective
persuasions< is not possible. Still, I concur with Bro. Bernard there is
common ground worth exploring, and misconceptions and imbalances on both
sides.
As for dialogue, there have been some positive developments in recent
years. For instance, my friend Dr. Manuel Gaxiola was the first Oneness
leader to serve as president of the Society for Pentecostal Studies. At the
"scholarly" level, at least, this opened many doors for meaningful exchange.
