I wasn't trying to give this passage a trinitarian twist, just pointing out
use of the plural. But, I don't think your interpretation is sufficient.
You define the "we" as simply Spirit + flesh, and it appears you don't
believe the humanity of Jesus was anything more than a body. Jesus states,
"*we* will come unto him." Spirit + flesh? The literal flesh of Christ
certainly does not come and abide with us. Seems to me that in some manner
the human nature or spirit of Christ, united with the omnipresent Spirit of
God, comes to dwell in our lives.
There are several other parts of your message I was going to address. But,
I think I will respectfully opt out of further discussion with you on this
particular thread. We are simply not connecting. And a cycle of "You missed
the point" and "No, you missed the point" exchanges would be...well,
pointless. :)
