In a message dated 97-07-16 01:55:07 EDT, you write:

<< >Then, by this definition, the apostle Paul would have been a "modalist".

 >1 Tim 3:16
 >16	... God was *manifest in the flesh*, ...
 >(KJV)

This sounds a little *picky* to me: >>

Me:
It was not my intent to be *picky*, I've just never heard the saints called
*modalists* before, and I just wanted to make sure I understood the
definition of that word.

I must agree with Bro. Tim,

<<Threefold?.... The burning bush, 1, the pilar of fire, 2, Melchesedic, 3,
the Angel that wrestled with Jacob, 4, the seven Spirits of the Church in
Revelation, 7....... Where do you get "threefold"?>>

that God has certainly manifested himself to his people a lot more than in
just three ways.

Heb 1:1-2
1	God, who at sundry times and in *divers manners* spake in time past unto
the fathers by the prophets,
2	Hath in these last days spoken unto us by his Son, ...
(KJV)
