Don't wait until you can work full time in the ministry to scrub the
church toilets. There is no time like the present! We just scrubbed
them last Friday night. Eight families in our Church take turns on
a cleaning schedule throughout the year.

When we first came to the Church we attend now, it *really*
surprised me to see the name of the Pastor and his wife on the
cleaning schedule. Our pastor's wife just "gets right in there" and
works with the rest of us Ladies. She *truly* leads by example in
every way. When the Pastor asked those willing to clean the church
in 1997 to sign up, our family put it's name on the list. I make a
"decent enough" living that I can afford to pay someone to clean the
toilets in my home once a week.

It's sad, but true, that there are some in the Church who
only want to do the jobs they consider "important", (i.e. where they
can be seen and heard) but find themselves "above" menial tasks.
I hope I never become so "self-important" that I consider myself
too "good" to clean the toilets in God's house.

As a point of reference, this comment comes from a Holy Ghost
filled, baptized in Jesus Name, tongue-talkin, Bank President.
( We pay someone (janitor) to clean the toilets at the bank.
I don't ask our employees to do that, nor do I clean them.)
