me:
Couldn't say for sure, as I haven't had a "new" job for over
21 years. I have been on the current one that long!
My hubby, however has to do the annual physical exam
"thing" each year (Boilermaker) to check if some of the stuff
he works around has contaminated his blood, lungs,
other vital organs, etc. The Local also requires that he take
a drug test *at least* annually. Some companies require a drug
test at each new job site. He may work for 7 to 10
different companies each year.
Speaking of *close proximity*, during his last physical exam,
the female doctor *insisted* that the female nurse be *inside* the
bathroom with my hubby when he "provided" the specimen for the
drug test. That's where he drew the line! He "allowed" that they
had already seen "everything" he had, he was stripped down to his
"fruit of the looms" and they *knew* there was absolutely *no place*
he could be hiding a specimen brought from home.
They finally "conceded" , after much argument, and let him have
his privacy. Can you believe it???
Like it's not enough that they test the "temperature" of the
specimen immediately. If it's not warm enough, you do it again!
The World's idea of a cheap thrill is getting "cheaper" every day.
