<< I agree. Everyone has different Pastors. Some are strictor

for their souls. They know what they are dealing with in their church. They
have been in Prayer for their church. So They know the spirits. I heard a
tape by Brother Stoneking,(Deliver us from evil),He feels that there are
spirits behind that stuff you use to make your hair stick out (moose). He
is also against wearing wedding rings. While other Pastors let you decide
on your on. I even know Pastors that don't believe in perms. Then there are
some who let their women wear facial powders. But they
are looking out for their sheep. Not everyone has the same conviction from
God than others do. I want my Pastor to tell me his convictions. I want his
 convictions become my convictions.

Sis. Amy, Thank you for your response, beards are no beards has never
been referred to as a salvation issue, by me. Here I am referring to some
other responses on this subject. However I do teach for our men to be clean
shaven, and if that bothers some here, that is not my intent, however I will
still teach our men to be clean shaven. If under Jewish law they could teach
you to square the corners of their beards, if this isn't entirely correct,
don't worry someone will straigthen me out, <g> we can teach our principles
on christian living, seeing that it is not in conclict with our fundemental
message of salvation. Its not necessary to wash your hands before you prepare
a meal, and you probably want die either, and I probably want desire to eat
the meal you cooked either, but that doesn't mean that its a matter of life
and death. They seem to think that its alright for them to see nothing wrong
with them, but its wrong for us to take a stand against them, beards that is.
And believe me its nothing personal, I have taught our men to be clean shaven
long before it was ever mentioned on this list, and don't really have any
problems here regarding that position.

The Apostle Paul in the 15th chapter of Acts, took a stand against his Jewish
brethern over some of the issues of making the gentiles convert to Jewish law
before they could be christians. And in the 16th Chapter of Acts, after having
delivering the gentiles from these Jewish laws, took Timotheus and
circuucised him because of the Jews which were in the area, so as not to
hinder our Apostolic message. I am afraid that if we are not careful, we
will ever be learning, and then maybe not know what it is all about,
especially if we major in minors to much. And please everyone don't take this
personal, because we are in this together.
