Three Gods

This is one of the e-mails I was going to answer an that got
"axed" when someone trashed my programs. If memory serves
there was a question about what I meant when I refered to the god of the
trinity being false and the gentleman posted 1 John 5:7.

This is a file that they didn't get!

This comes from "WORLD WIDE
publications" "the four translation NEW TESTAMENT" and is a footnote on 1
John 5:7 for the "Beck" translation: "Our oldest
manuscripts do not have 7b-8a: "in heaven: the Father, the
Word, and the Holy Spirit, and these three are one. And
there are three testifing on Earth" Early in the 16th
century an editor translated these words from Latin
manuscripts and inserted them in his Greek New Testament.
Erasmus took them from this Greek New Testament and
inserted them in the third edition (1522) of his Greek New
Testament. Luther used the text prepared by Erasmus. But
even though the inserted words taught the Trinity, Luther
ruled them out and never had them in his translation. In
1550 Bugenhagen objected to these words "on account of the
truth." In 1574 Feyerabend, a printer, added them to
Luther's text, and in 1596 they appeared in the Wittenburg
copies. They were not in Tyndale's or Coverdale's bible or
in the Great Bible."

As someone has pointed out to me, it is also in the center footnotes of the
Scofield Bible that this was added.

Sadly, all who believe this lie about the trinity and die in this belief
are condemned already. Why would you wish to join them? Listen Brother,
let me emplore you to set aside what you have purposed in you heart and ask
that you fall on your face and see what God has to say to you.

God is against any violence on our parts because as His servants it is not
us that the person owes when he strikes us, but since Jesus has paid the
price for us and we are His, it is Him they owe. That goes for any country
that is His too. Anyone who says that they have sought the Lord and the
Lord has told them to kill anyone for any reason is decieved. Anyone who
dies without the covering offered by abiding in Christ is condemned
already.

People say "What are we supposed to do, just sit here and let them run over
us?" My answer is that that indeed depends upon whether they believe God
is really in charge or not.

As for me:

Daniel 3
16 Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego, answered and said to the king, O
Nebuchadnezzar, we are not careful to answer thee in this matter.

17 If it be so, our God whom we serve is able to deliver us from the
burning fiery furnace, and he will deliver us out of thine hand, O king.

18 But if not, be it known unto thee, O king, that we will not serve thy
gods, nor worship the golden image which thou hast set up.

Nor will I bow to the idols of fear and greed by which all wars are fought.

This nation has sown to the wind and will reap the whirlwind, have a care
lest you fight against God!

No one can help you until you at least admit that you may have been wrong
and seek God about what you should do now. Going over to the Enemy is not
the answer.
