Protection against elements - what about summer (do you need protection
then) why couldn't they do as the women and wear a veil/scarf (men do so
now). What about those who work outside in all weather today?
it wasn't cosmetics ... what it amounts, today - then what was it custom,
tradition, the Law?
What makes it trivial? More than a few men (mostly black) have a skin
disorder that shaving greatly iritates; making the face feel as though a
hot iron has been pressed against it. Is this trivial?
