In reply to the 20% of the women helping and 80% staying home.......I agree.
I, too, am Ladies Aux. Leader in our church. But I have found that there
will be some that will not help do anything no matter how much you try to get
them to, these are the same ladies that complain that they don't "feel a part
of the ladies group"! But I have also found that there are some faithful
ladies that will help you do what ever you want them to do, "no matter what".
I thank God for these ladies! They are the backbone of our church! One
of them is single and she comes and helps me set up and she and I are usually
the last ones to leave (unofficial cleanup committee) =) But I have found
through the years that this type of person is the ones that God uses. They
are willing to give of themselves over and over!
I truly believe that the Lord has a special young man for this single lady
(she is 28 years old and has been faithful all of her life). God ALWAYS
blesses us with His goodness!
So to all of the ladies out there (married and single) I say, start doing
anything and everything you are asked to do for the Lord! My husband has a
saying "If I am asked to do it, I will do it to the best of my ability.
Even if I feel like I have no talent in this area" He has taught me this,
and I, too, try to do whatever I can for the Lord, in what ever area He needs
me (i.e. clean the bathrooms, clean the kitchen, teach Sunday School, Ladies
Aux. etc) God has never let me down!!!
Sincerely;
Sis. Brenda
