It is unsightly to have someone hovering over your food with hair
on their face. Small hairs may break off and fall into your food,
making the meal unpleasant. This is the reason for not having
beards around food. It has nothing to do with McDonalds...all
food service establishments (even high paying ones) require
that men don't wear beards. Don't forget, they also require
"head coverings (hair nets)" but does that mean that men should
wear hair nets to church?
I agree with the previous post-er who said if God didn't want us
to wear beards, he would not have given us hair follicles on those
parts of our face. It's strange when we are talking about appearances,
we tell the women that they should remain as God created them (no
make-up), but we men are supposed to modify what God has done
on our faces.
